Derek M. Wolff, CFP(R) is the president of the firm; he has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(R) certification (2005). Derek received his B.A. in Finance from Barat College in Lake Forest, Illinois in 1998. Derek started his career in the Financial Services Industry back in 1993, for more then ten years Derek was the pension manager for a small business defined benefit pension plan. Derek moved to Golden in 1999 and worked at a mutual fund investment company as a supervisor of the investment sales. Derek started Wolff Financial Advisors, LLC in 2005 and he strongly believes in the financial planning process, having been in the industry since 1993; Derek understands that steady long term performance is the result of careful planning, proper implementation, and constant monitoring with an emphasis on strategic investment allocation.
